Bulletin Post: Back To Uni Life

Ok, so I'm back in kl. Got massive cleaning to do and really gotta discard as much notes as I possibly can. Some are even as old as foundation notes which are like 3 years ago. Ha ha, you’ll never know when the next time you need it is. I’m still gonna keep the nightmare Maths 2 notes. Well, that shows that I might repeat that bloody subject even though I passed. But it just ain’t enough, gonna aim it. That hell of a paper had pulled down my CGPA damn low. And yes, Mr. Ong if you’re reading this, do tell me which sem you gonna teach Maths 2 so I can sneak into your class. Thank you!

So yeah! Lotsa stuff to do in this tiny little room. And there’s just not much time left plus I got a HUGE report to be accomplished. Well its actually all done with the report, I just need to final edit and follow the system that they have provided. So many things to follow. Wanna insert a picture must skip how many lines, must indent how many inch. Gosh!! Not free ler like tat! Anyway I think I kinda close to the finale, already and means there’s one less thing to do. Thankfully! Gotta get it bind tomorrow. And oh, just found out there’s boring briefing for lab tomorrow at 1. Sigh! Thought that I could go to school later since class was at 4 and ends at freaking 7! Gosh two days which end so late in a week this sem. Cham lo!! But what to do its lecture can’t change time.

Neways, got back last night and this morning went to tapau my so-long-never-eat pork ball noodles, one of my favs here.

Maybe it’s cause so long that I din’t eat, kinda feel weird with the taste. But always love the pork ball and the sausage! Wheee!!

Ok enough already! Loads of things to be done by today and gotta start now!! *Puff*

Suay (Unlucky) Week

Ok, this past week has been a very bad week for me! First, I lost my shawl. Yes, it’s just a stupid plain shawl, but I got through a lot and waited very long to search for the shawl that suits all my criteria. I don’t wanna waste much money on shawls cause my wish list is really very long. I still have a lot of things to get. I got this stupid wonderful plain dull black shawl from Reject shop for only RM 13 and its long and wide enough and the best part is, the material is also soft and can keep me warm. It fits perfectly. I only had it for less than a month and now it’s gone. I searched the entire room and the possible areas at home and it was nowhere to be seen. Bye bye shawl, I’ll miss you though I’m gonna replace you.

Second, darling’s daddy’s car got stolen so now darling got no car to use. I know this is not supposed to be in this post but darling’s problems = my problems so my blog = his blog… so he should be featured here also. Hehe.. I hope the bastards who stole your daddy’s car will get caught and get punishments. We, victims of snatch theft, robbery, pick pockets and etc … etc… etc… You know how we worked our ass off to get those things we wanted? And you didn’t even bother to ask our permissions and just snatched our hard earn money away? Only Hell knows how hard it was for you to steal, but you certainly do not know what we’ve been through or our parents’ have been through to get us a comfortable life! We earned it we deserve it and you’re not welcome! I f***ing pray hard that you bastards will experience the pain and loss of your hard earn (or should I say STOLEN?), money or family!

Third, my internet settings at work got some problems so I couldn’t go online for 2 boring days! But it’s fine now cause darling helped me out with it but it’s no use too. Friday was my last day! Yeah! I wanted to stay for another week till school starts but my dad grumbling dy. So had to come back lor. Sigh!! I’m gonna miss staying with my bros, sis-in-law and the dearest, Marcus. I’m gonna miss playing with him in the mornings, washing his milk bottles and hang his cute tiny little clothes. I’m gonna miss his forever smiling face, the way he looks with his bonnet, his saliva, the impatience when taking his photos, and so much more… I wonder if he knows that I’m no longer living there. It’s ok Marcus, I’ll see you when we meet again! I love you and be a good boy okay! Muaks! Saddest, I didn’t even get to bid goodbye!

Fourth, me and Sarveni (BFF) planned to meet up on Sunday and hang but mummy needs me on that day! So sad lar, it’s so hard to meet up with all my besties you know. With Sarveni one of the nearest, Ipoh, the last time I met her was last June. Half a year already. I haven’t seen Cavin for like ever and we are so goddamn worried if she’s okay cause we never got any news from her lately! Her last msg was in November (2 months back la)I’m so sorry Sarveni, I hope I can make up to you in your next trip home and crossing my fingers tightly on that BFF vacation. It’s gonna be super FUN. Next, the internet connection back in hometown is very damn slow cause its dial-up. So I can’t upload any pictures. There are a few pictures for this post but guess, there’s nothing I can do about it! Boring blog! Haihh!!

Lastly, my SIM card bullied me. I didn’t get to use my phone since yesterday (FRIDAY nite) and I gotta wait till Monday to get it fix and I pray hard that I don’t have to change number! If yes, another work to do! Sigh!!!

Restaurant Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh in Puchong

Sorry for my disappearance for the last few days. Don’t know why, my internet settings had gone haywire. Thankfully I’ve got a smart darling who helped me settled it. I’m so proud of him and definitely feel lucky to have him and I guess I have God to thank for. Thank You Lord.

Referring to the title above, yes, me and my brother’s family went to eat at Restaurant Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh in Puchong, after baby Marcus’s check up with the doctor. We decided to eat there since it was so near (a few shops away). I went in and expected for a normal, usual bak kut teh meal. But instead I got a shock when they served. When we ordered our meal, I already felt something was weird about this shop for they do not serve yau char kuai ( my most favourite side dish ) and they only have white rice. Indeed I was right. This bak kut teh restaurant is really different. I did not take many pictures, just three to show how different it was.

Usually, all the types of meat that we ordered will be in one clay pot together with the sensational herbal tea soup. SLURRRPPPP … And also some beancurd skin and different types of mushrooms. All in one pot. But this restaurant serves each type of meat in a bowl individually. I searched for this restaurant online and it’s actually a famous restaurant in Klang. So basically, the pictures were taken after we’ve eaten, not much left to see…

But I can tell you here that they only serve the meat, no beancurd skin or mushroom. Vegetable is side order. Another thing, together with the meat in the bowl, was thick liquid (which is actually the soup) but we thought it was the gravy. So we asked for the soup, and they added the same gravy into the bowls and at that moment we realized that the gravy was actually the soup. It’s just that it’s thicker from the usual type of bak kut teh. So I think it should be good, cause the taste will be stronger right. But it’s not so “syok” because I like to drink the soup and not make it as gravy. Here’s a clearer picture which I stole from somewhere else and this might give you a clearer picture on how your meal might be served.

Overall, it’s a unique experience for I’ve never encounter this style of bak kut teh before. It might have been popular since long long ago, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth (Iols, just a metaphor adapted from She’s The Man starring Amanda Bynes). But I like to have more soup, and also my favourite side dish, Yau Char Kuai. I so “gian chiak” the yau char kuai lor. I will feel something amiss if I have bak kut teh without it. But credits to Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh for:

1) The unique experience
2) And the meat was so soft and tender, so yummy…

So, if those of you who haven’t tried, like me lor, can go try it out yourself. You’ll never know until you have it. So long for this post!

Popoye's Louisiana Kitchen

Ok! I had heard about Popeyes just two months back but never got a chance to try it out until last Sunday! Whoppy! We finally watched Avatar and the movie was super amazing! Two thumbs up for that. Ok back to the topic....

I think Popeye's is kinda like a combination of KFC and McD. Why I said so? Well, of course everyone knows Popeyes is famous for its fried chicken just like KFC.. I think you people dun need me to judge for this. Try it out yourselves because I think everyone has different opinions and taste.

As for McD.... Have you tried Popeyes Cajun Fries?

My first bite, it reminded me of

McD curly fries

Yes, I did not know if it was my taste bud problem or what but to me… it really tasted like curly fries. So for those of you who always waited till CNY season just to grab hold of some curly fries (apart from A&W), JUST LIKE ME, well crave no more.. Just go to any Popeyes outlet nearest to you, and they have it all year round. Oh Popeyes, you saved me from my desire for Curly fries. I don’t know about you guys, but to me, the Cajun fries can really be a substitute for McD curly fries when its not the CNY season. Guess my taste bud problem really does pay this time. *Winks*
