Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle

There's two things I know for sure
She was sent here from heaven
And she's daddy's little girl
As I drop to my knees by her bed at night
She talks to Jesus and I close my eyes
And I thank God for all of the joy in my life
Oh but most of all

For butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer
Stickin' little white flowers all up in her hair
Walk beside the pony daddy it's my first ride
I know the cake looks funny daddy but I sure tried

Oh with all that I've done wrong
I must have done something right
To deserve a hug every mornin'
And butterfly kisses at night

Sweet 16 today
She's lookin' like her mama a little more every day
One part woman the other part girl
To perfume and make up from ribbons and curls
Trying her wings out in a great big world
But I remember

Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer
Stickin' little white flowers all up in her hair
You know how much I love you daddy
But if you don't mind
I'm only gonna kiss you on the check this time

Oh with all that I've done wrong
I must have done something right
To deserve her love every mornin'
And butterfly kisses at night

All the precious time
Like the wind the years go by
Precious butterfly
Spread your wings and fly

She'll change her name today
She'll make a promise and I'll give her aways
Standing in the bride room just staring at her
She asked me what I'm thinkin'
And I said I'm not sure
I just feel like I'm loosin' my baby girl
And she leaned over

Gave me butterfly kisses with her mama there
Stickin' little white flowers all up in her hair
Walk me down the isle daddy
It's just about time
Does my wedding gown look pretty daddy?
Daddy's don't cry

Oh with all that I've done wrong
I must have done something right
To deserve her love every mornin'
And butterfly kisses

I couldn't ask God for more than this is what love is
I know I've got to let her go but I'll always remember
Every hug in the mornin' and butterfly kisses

Elephant is their logo

Thai Iced Tea a.k.a Teh Ais/ 3 layer tea @ Rm 5.80
It tasted nice, better than some mamak. The price oso nice lor..
haha...

Fried Chicken with lemon sauce @ Rm 11

The chicken tasted weird like some "ayam busuk" or smtg.. I not sure..
All I knew that it was not a pleasant chicken to eat.

Tomyam Seafood @ Rm 8 per bowl
Rather spicy but of course if it wasn't then it can't be called tom yam anymore.

Kangkung Belacan @ Rm8
I feel that the portion is kinda small..

our dinner

Squid Squido

Next it's going into my mouth and then down my tummy..
Sorry squido..

mirror opposite our table.. or rather beside our table..

KLCC captured with LuPy's 8 times optical zoom from the car.

Bangkok Wasabe

No. 16-1, Jalan PJU5/15, Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Near Sunway Giza

Overall, the food was just okay lar.. Tom yam was not bad, iced tea also not bad lor.. The chicken was not good and kangkung was not enough. But I think I still prefer Flying Chillies in The Gardens.

Peek-A-Pic:Tomato Rice with Chicken Chop

There's a new food court in the area I'm staying so this is a very good news for me. More choices, Yeah! Actually it had opened like more than a month ago but so far I only tried 3 stalls. One was the mee suah soup with chicken balls. Second was pork ball noodle stall, situated just beside the mee suah stall( The pork ball noodle sucks) Didn't quite intend to buy it but the mee suah stall aunty didn't open on that day so it left me with no choice, plus it was the nearest and porkballs happen to be one of my favourites. Third is the western food. I order Tomato Rice with Chicken Chop @ Rm5.50 . The portion was not bad. The original menu was

tomato rice + fried egg + chicken chop + acar(sourish mix vege)

Since I don't like Acar, I told the man not to put any for me. But the guy was soo good... He replaced it with fries instead! My dream set lunch. YUMMEH! Mmmmm Mmmmm..

see see see

ate the fries n now you can see the chicken chop... Quite alot also ler. The chicken was kinda dry cause lack o sauce. So it was just quite moderate.

Now only can see the rice.. haha...

Yummy???? Hee.. well, I don't know if he's gonna be this generous to me again next time cause usually people will be more generous at the beginning of the business and then they will turn out to be blood suckers before you even know it. The first time I bought the mee suah soup, I had 5-6 chicken balls. Last night I bought it, I only got 2 miserable chicken balls. Haihh...

Oh yah, at the same food court, I bought "yau char kuai" yesterday also cause they had some really different recipes. One type, is banana flovour whereby a slice of banana is wrapped with "yau char kuai" dough. 5 small pieces for Rm1. Errr.. I don't know how to describe it and I'm really sorry that I don't have any picture to show here cause by the time I reached home, they were all in my tummy already. Sorryy... And the normal long "yau char kuai" that we usually eat, the owner of the shop spreads a layer of garlic butter on it. I couldn't really taste the garlic butter but the smell was damn strong. Can you imagine how tempting and frustrated I was eating it. Just the same concept as ' you can see it, but you cant have it'.

When I was going to school this morning, I realized that the sky looked mesmerizing. It was quite early, almost 7.35 am. I didn't have my LuPy(camera) with me so I had to take it with my SE C510 .

There... Looks like errr.. sunset or smtg.. Cause it's kinda dark. My phone camera problem.

Okay, thats all for now. Thought of just updating something so that it doesn't look like I had abandoned this blog. Sorry, no poems lately, well not like anyone's gonna read it so who cares rite? So long for now!

I'm no Interviewee

That's right! I don't do well in interviews, orals, debates or impromptu speeches. Some people think that I'm a good presenter and I speak the language well but now I'm gonna reveal my dark secret.

I CHEATED IN ALL PRESENTATIONS.

Cheated?? How is that possible?

Look, the real deal about presenting or public speaking is not MEMORIZING. And that is what I've been doing all these while. Memorizing my speech. The correct way of presenting is to talk about the title spontaneously. We can prepare the points and ideas that we want to present but not prepare the speech that we want to deliver. That is wrong. So if you ask me what makes a good presenter, I would probably answer... Perhaps a person who has a handful of knowledge, all rounder, very concern about current issues, who speaks the language well and the most important; spontaneousness. Because when you are a natural, if you are smart, nothing could stop you. You say things right, you made your point, your listeners get your message and your're in. That's it!

When I'm well prepared for a presentation, I'll do well. But if I were to be given a topic to talk about there and then, I would be dead meat. And don't be fooled. My nervousness may not be apparent, but I'm actually shivering my butt off right from the beginning till the very end.

Therefore, I'm not a good interviewee. I'm just not the spontaneous type and I don't socialize or blend in easily. What's more I have no knowledge what-so-ever. Even if I do, I'm just too afraid to point it out and I talk too soft, people barely notice that I exist.

Of course when I write this, I wrote what I experienced. Engineering Accreditation Committee was here to accredit our course today. So "lucky" that I was chosen for the interview but thank god it was a group interview. We had really good students especially our seniors and dear Renukha in our group for that interview. They had done sooo much and it was the right thing for Dr. Lai to have chosen Renukha as a last minute substitute. She was a major help to us. If we pass this, Please say thank you to them, please.

If I were to be interviewed on an individual basis, I think most of my answers would be Ahhh.. Errr and I'm sorry, I really don't know! So Thank God, Thank God!

This is not the only time that I screwed up. I think I did quite badly for another interview too, which was long long ago. I knew I din't have quite a fair chance to get that scholarship, but who knows right? If only I did well on that interview, if only I was more bold and competitive, I could have gotten a chance of a lifetime. I wouldn't know right, am I right?

So yeah! I'm no interviewee and I should really be ashamed when people say that I'm a good presenter because I cheated! And I really do not know how I'm going to fair in my job interviews in the future. I don't even know what I'll end up becoming. My future is just so misty. I just can't see it.
